We have listed a few options for lodging both on-site or off-site for the wedding. Be sure to book early because September is still tourist season in the Black Hills. There are notes below on how to get the rooms we have blocked off for the wedding. Of course, you are also welcome to stay anywhere else in Rapid City, just so long as you can make arrangements for transportation to and from the wedding. For those looking at flying in, the airport code is RAP.

We want this to feel like a big family vacation, so kids are definately welcome.  The far side of Canyon Lake is a city park open to the public with a nice bike path.  Canyon Lake Resort also rents out paddle boats, and there's plenty of grass for lawn games.
